How it fits together

Before we delve into more details of the Aphix Digital Platform, a common understanding of terms and concepts is required.

Cloud computing is an information technology model that offers services on demand over the Internet.1 Services, such as the Aphix Digital Platform and its additional products, can be deployed and used in real time using smartphones, tablets or desktops, irrespective of where you are located or when you wish to access them.2

Software as a Service (SaaS) is defined as ‘software deployed as a hosted service over the Internet’3. As the end user, you are provided with a web user interface into hosted software services. Typically, development is not possible but customisation or configuration of the software is.

Aphix Digital Platform is hosted and runs in a cloud-based environment. It comprises a platform that contains a suite of SaaS products that you can use, either alone or in combination with each other.  This means that for you, as a merchant, you can be sure it is secure, compliant, real time and supported.

There is a minimum set up required in order to use Aphix products alone; you will need to deploy the Aphix Digital Platform prior to adding on other products. Speak to us about what is the minimum product set to get started.

Once deployed, the Aphix Digital Platform can be accessed via an Internet browser by your administrator working in your sales/marketing office, your field sales representatives and your customers, using laptop, Android or iOS tablet or mobile devices depending on what products you have deployed.
