Select location point when using Click and Collect
Your customers can now select a preferred collection point from your list of store locations if they select to Click and Collect their products during Checkout in Aphix WebShop.
You can now set the currency of coupons and vouchers to any currency you have configured on your WebShop. Newly configured currencies are automatically added to the drop-down box. Find out more about Using Vouchers and Coupons in Aphix WebShop.
Aphix PocketShop
New features
We're delighted to let you know that PocketShop v2.7 is now available. This version fixes some bugs, but more importantly, adds some great new features and improvements for you.
Viewing product files and images
You may already have an FTP transfer set up to transfer files (such as datasheets) for specific products which can currently be displayed in Aphix WebShop. These files are accessible under a Downloads tab, located under the product images on the product page in WebShop. Click on the link to view the file contents.
We've extended this feature, so you can now see files shared through your your configured FTP transfer in Aphix PocketShop. You can see links to all these files under the description on the product view screen in PocketShop. Click on the link to view the file contents.
Viewing technical specifications
Currently, you can see product technical specifications when viewing a product in Aphix WebShop. You can view technical specifications by selecting the Specifications tab, located under the product images on the product page in WebShop. Click on the link to view the file contents.
We've extended this feature so that you can now see product technical specifications when viewing a product in Aphix PocketShop also. You can see technical specifications under the description on the product view screen in PocketShop.
Improving your customer experience
Search
When you or your customer open Search in the top menu bar, you are now presented with a message saying: "Type anything to search for products". If no products are found, a "No products found." message is displayed. Additionally, you can change the text of both messages to suit yourself using our Translations feature.
Barcode scanner
The PocketShop barcode scanner has been redesigned to be quicker and more responsive. A loading icon is displayed when PocketShop is scanning a barcode.
Validating addresses and collection points during Checkout
We've improved the user experience during Checkout by including address validation:
When your customer selects Deliver to Address, both the first line of the address and the country are required fields.
When your customer selects to collect their order, they must also select a collection point.
Both of these improvements reduce the number of orders that are submitted with incomplete delivery or collection information, which smooths the journey from order to delivery for both you and your customer. New features
Standard naming for custom fields
To get the best out of your Aphix solution, you'll use custom fields. Custom fields are created in your ERP and are integrated with Aphix Digital Platform when your solution is built. Typically, they allow you to extend your business data so that your eCommerce solution can also use that data without compromising on its quality or integrity.
We have a standard naming convention for these custom fields - you'll have to include a prefix of "AX" for all custom fields used by Aphix web services.
