New features and improvements

November

  • Statistics on Aphix Management Interface Dashboard: get valuable sales insights and analytics data at a glance.
  • Wardrobe Management: an add-on product designed and built to accelerate the process of ordering and re-ordering sets or packs of apparel and products within an organisation. The feature allows customers with appropriate privileges to build a pack of products, such as a pack of all the clothing and items for a particular area or department. Each item on a pack may have recorded options set against it (for example, size or colour) so that the appropriate item for a given pack can always be referred back to when order.
  • Delivery Due Dates: adds a date-picker to the checkout screen on both WebShop and SalesRep, giving two choices when placing an order: Next Available or Choose Due Date.  The next available will set the date to be the current date, and custom due date is managed by the user.
  • Recently Ordered Products: presents your customers with a list of products they have ordered over the last 30 orders, in chronological order, and it also gives them the ability to re-order these products.

  • Improved Google Sitemaps for Large Catalogues: delivers improved results in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for WebShops that have more than 50000 products/pages. Aphix WebShop platform now allows you to present Google and others search engines with multiple XML sitemaps, in order to avoid the current Google limit (external site: Build & Submit a Sitemap). This means that Google will now successfully index more than 50000 URLs for your Aphix WebShop and thus improve indexation and increase traffic.


  • Improved Reliability of Email Order Confirmations: As we have grown as a company, our customer base has also grown. This has meant more orders and more transactions. In order to deliver the notifications for all these orders in the most efficient way, we now have a dedicated IP address just for transactions and sending order confirmations. This means that you, as a merchant, will not experience any issues with the delivery of those crucial order notifications. We are enabling this by default for all our customers.   • B2B Customers' Account Dashboard: the account dashboard now shows the customer's post code.
  • Redirects after login: the page the customer sees after signing in is the page they were on prior to signing in; This also works with bookmarked pages or links to a specific section/login-restricted pages in a WebShop.
  • Quotation Follow Up: added the ability to retrieve a previously placed quote and either convert to an order, add the contents of the quote to an existing cart already containing some items or request a cancellation and/or query some of the items/prices on the quote. Note that this feature is not enabled by default and may not be compatible with your ERP system, depending on the version/type you're using.
  • Downloads Search Page: added a new front-end template, which allows for the simple management of a content-rich menu page and also adds the ability to link & display specific product documentation, which is searchable like a typical product/category page. Note that this feature is not enabled by default.
  • New Search & Filter Attributes, as follows (note that these features are not enabled by default):
    • enabled search by options to work like search by simple products
    • enabled product options to be displayed like filters
    • enabled the addition and control of new parameters via the Management Interface which allows you to create extra search parameters, which do not appear as configurable options on a product, but show as searchable parameters on product listing pages and within the technical specifications of a product 
  • Line Item Due Date: to allow for this to be controlled per configuration/customer and define the actual due date, rather than for it to stay at the default 1 week.

July 

  • Management Interface 2.0 has been released. This version of Aphix Management Interface is now the default view for all of our customers. It now includes a newsfeed for the latest updates we have for our customers, as well as a handy link to our support platform. Thank you for all of the great feedback over the last 8 weeks while this feature was in beta. We will continue rolling out more improvements based on customers' feedback, as they are ready. Soon, we will be regrouping, renaming and reorganizing some of the menus, in order to be able to get to the main sections quicker and work smarter.

  • Product Specifications: adds a tab to products that show any defined amount of detail, e.g., colour: black, size: S, M, L; This feature allows technical information for a product, typically items that may appear on a data sheet, to be easily managed 
  • Friendly Category URLs: This feature makes the URL links to categories more user-friendly and it also allows customers to customise each category's URL link (WS-1386) 
  • Image Downloads: images now show in your browser instead of downloading when we opened (WS-1361)

  • Customer Product Lists Update: - WebShop Merchants want to be able to add all products in a particular category to a product list. Previously the Merchant had to add products one by one by their SKU - if the Merchant has a restricted set of products (by their brand for example) they cannot restrict the customer to only buy that category of products. New features and improvements

November

  • Get valuable sales insights at a glance with dashboard graphs showing sales data from the last 30 days.
  • Multiple login account support with offline account switching: you can now easily switch between multiple accounts without signing out. 
  • Support for back orders added: manage your product back order list by giving your reps full visibility of items which have not shipped yet and the ability to make a cancellation or reorder items on behalf of a customer.
  • Notification about internet connection status: -you will now get notifications when you are offline due to a weak data connection or no signal, meaning only offline pricing will be used when placing order and customer-specific pricing will not be available. 
  • Delivery Due Dates: allow your reps to select a delivery date using a date-picker to the checkout screen on both WebShop and SalesRep.
  • Support for multiple stock bins and locations: stock bins can be considered an alternative to stock branches, or locations. These are used to identify what location/van/rep an order was placed from and they can be used to identify/manage separate stock allocation & availability per bin.
  • Messages screen moved to dedicated home.
  • Vastly improved iOS performance and speed.

  • Customer Credit Status now Highly Visible: You can now easily see the credit status of each customer in multiple screens with SalesRep.  This feature will save time and it helps you avoid issues with accounts that are approaching or over their credit limit by highlighting these more clearly in the app. 

September

  • Minimum Selling Price: you are now able to view the lowest selling price on a product. This new update works in conjunction with the ability to edit product prices per order, meaning that you're fully in control of the maximum discount given per product for Sales Rep orders.
  • Shipping: you can configure shipping for SalesRep orders so that carriage and freight are added directly to the order on the app, prior to it submitting the order.

July 

  • SalesRep V1.74 available. This version supports:
    • Product Options views updated to include new Matrix View and sub-totals per product
    • Order screen now contains grouped products by options
    • Increased size of add to order buttons and favourites button relocated to the left-hand side
